Four citizens of the Russian Federation were rescued on Lake Imantau in the Aiyrtau district of the North Kazakhstan region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The vacationers were on the lake in a rubber boat. Due to strong winds and high waves, the boat drifted towards an island, and they could not return to the shore on their own.
The men put on life jackets and decided to swim to the shore themselves. However, they misjudged their strength and weather conditions. Strong winds and waves significantly hampered movement in the water.
Upon receiving the report, rescuers promptly arrived at the scene and brought all four people to the shore. The rescued individuals did not require medical assistance.
