According to police, the tragic incident was caused by a domestic dispute. A 31-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of committing the crime. The police department of the North Kazakhstan region stated: "A 74-year-old woman died from stab wounds. A 31-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of committing the crime."
Currently, a pre-trial investigation is underway on the fact of murder.
