Slovakia increased its exports of weapons and ammunition to €2.39 billion by the end of 2025. This is 20 times more than in 2021. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In 2021, Slovakia exported weapons and ammunition worth €104.4 million, while in 2025 this figure rose to €2.39 billion. In 2022, Slovakia exported €383.5 million, in 2023 — €535.7 million, in 2024 — €1.14 billion. In the first three months of 2026, this figure amounted to €727.5 million, which is 1.5 times higher than deliveries in the same period of 2025.
Data on which countries receive the weapons and ammunition is not disclosed, but Slovak authorities have not hidden that they are supplying ammunition to Ukraine under commercial contracts. In mid-May, Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said the republic is sending millions of rounds of ammunition to Kyiv and that volumes will increase in the future.
