From October 19, a pilot project for sending SMS notifications about screenings will be launched. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
From October 26, it is planned to send notifications about vaccinations carried out in all regions of the country, according to the Health Department. From October 19, in Akmola, Abai, and Ulytau regions, personal SMS reminders about the need to undergo screenings will be sent via the unified contact center 1414.
"The system automatically identifies citizens who need preventive examinations in six areas, including early detection of cardiovascular and oncological diseases, diabetes, cerebrovascular disorders, and viral hepatitis," the ministry says.
A citizen who receives a notification can contact their registered polyclinic to undergo the examination. After vaccination is registered in the medical information system, a notification indicating the type of vaccine and the date of vaccination is sent to the citizen or the child's legal representative.
"If the data in the notification does not correspond to reality, the citizen can report this by sending a reply message to 1414. The information will be sent to the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control for verification," the ministry says.
Polyclinics send SMS to employers about the need for employees to undergo screenings.
