The Shanghai Cooperation Organization has become a full-fledged international organization. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Bishkek, according to RIA Novosti. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"We are very pleased that our initiative has found such a good continuation and has acquired an international scale. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization has become a full-fledged international organization," Putin said.
He recalled that the SCO was founded on the initiative of Russia and China.
