The summit dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the SCO will be the main event within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the organization in 2025–2026. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Ahead of the summit, leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, Iran and other SCO member states will hold bilateral meetings. In particular, a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled for August 31. The presidents met in Omsk at the end of July.
