Representative of the Russian Central Election Commission Alena Bulgakova noted that voters make conscious choices and trust the process. "All necessary measures for people to express their will were applied both in legislation and in practice. Regardless of the category of voters, each polling station had a standard set of measures to ensure the rights of various categories of citizens. This included disabled people and those who cannot vote at the station but can receive a ballot for voting outside the station. The logistics of walking around polling stations was very clear and understandable," Bulgakova said.
Belarusian representative Natalya Pavlyuchenko highly appreciated the professional work of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan. All polling stations in the country were equipped in a unified style, and everything was accessible and understandable, she told reporters. "On election day, active participation of citizens was observed. Despite the rainy weather, Kazakhs continued to come to polling stations. This shows that information work was carried out purposefully," Pavlyuchenko said.
Member of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of Tajikistan Makhfirat Khidirzoda was surprised by the large number of young people at the elections in Kazakhstan. She worked as part of the SCO observer mission and visited several polling stations. "This shows that the new generation is not indifferent to the future of the country," Makhfirat Khidirzoda said.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan published preliminary results of the elections, which showed that five parties would enter the new parliament.
