In Shymkent, a 65-year-old man died after a fight with a neighbor. The conflict arose over a car parked near the gate of his house. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Circumstances of the incident

Earlier in the day, Khursanbek Tursynkulov was spending time with his grandchildren, and in the evening relatives were informed of his death. The moment of the conflict was captured by a surveillance camera.

According to preliminary data, a 39-year-old neighbor parked his car near the pensioner's gate. The owner of the house came out to reprimand him. The verbal altercation escalated into a fight, during which the man received several blows and fell onto the asphalt. All of this happened in front of his six-year-old granddaughter.

Witness accounts

"After the blow he fell, and the other one left. Then, when he had already reached the middle of the road, he calmly returned, took the air conditioner that was at home, and calmly went into his house, opened the gate. His house is on that side, and he wanted to park the car here, on this side. That's why they argued, they constantly conflicted," said Aynisa Zhapparkulova, a relative of the deceased.

According to local residents, the suspect had previously conflicted with neighbors. They also claim that he was repeatedly seen in a state of intoxication.

"He is not a good person. He has a scandalous character. He drinks alcohol and other things. That's why most people did not get along with him," said local resident Bakhadyr Islamov.

Actions of law enforcement

Doctors who arrived at the scene pronounced the pensioner dead. The suspect was detained shortly after the incident.

"From the injuries sustained, the victim died at the scene. The suspect was identified through hot pursuit and detained," said Nurlybek Alibekuly, deputy head of the criminal police department of the Shymkent Police Department.

The investigation is awaiting the results of ordered examinations. After they are received, the actions of the detained man will be given a legal assessment. Relatives of the deceased demand an objective investigation and that the guilty party be held accountable.
