In Shymkent, a 25-year-old woman impersonated a police officer over the phone during a conflict. A video of her involvement appeared on social media. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The Shymkent Police Department assured that she has no connection to internal affairs bodies and does not work anywhere.

As it turned out, the woman was drunk at the time of the incident. She was brought to administrative responsibility for being in a state of alcohol intoxication in a public place, violating public order, and petty hooliganism.
A video of her involvement appeared on social media. The publication was also posted on the Instagram page of the Shymkent City Police Department (@police_shymkent).
The police recalled that impersonating an employee of a state body is prohibited. Liability is provided for the illegal appropriation of a special rank or position, as well as presenting oneself as an employee of a state body.
Earlier, "Kursiv" reported how in Astana a blogger received 10 days for a prank involving the police and military commissariat. For the sake of a "social experiment," the man walked along the Yesil embankment and impersonated a law enforcement officer.
