A resident of Shymkent who attended a wedding was arrested for five days. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The 34-year-old city resident went outside during the wedding and fired a signal pistol into the air. In doing so, he endangered other people.

Court decision

By court decision, the man was placed under administrative arrest for 5 days. In addition, he was fined for violating nighttime quiet and for the use of a weapon.

Fine amounts

It is noted that a fine of 5 MCI, or 21,625 tenge, is provided for disturbing the peace, while a fine of 20 MCI, or 86,500 tenge, is provided for the use of a weapon.

Earlier, it was reported that a criminal case was opened against a man who said "music is haram" at a wedding.
