A resident of Shymkent is suspected of committing violence against a foreign citizen. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to information spread on social media, the victim brought four Chinese citizens to Baidibek district for the purpose of investing in lead-zinc production. After a business meeting, the suspect offered to give him a ride. However, along the way, he took him to a deserted area and committed rape.
The police gave an official comment: "The suspect, a resident of Shymkent, has been identified and detained. Currently, investigative actions are being carried out," reported the police department of Turkestan region.
