In the East Kazakhstan region, citizens who grossly violated traffic rules have been punished, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A video of passengers leaning their bodies out of car windows spread on social networks. The dangerous footage caught the attention of police officers.
"Such an action not only violates traffic rules but also poses a threat to the lives and safety of the passengers themselves and other road users," police said.
Police officers identified the citizens in the video and took appropriate measures. Drivers were held administratively liable for violating the requirements for transporting passengers, including transporting them outside the vehicle cabin.
In addition, passengers were also held liable for leaning their bodies out of a moving vehicle.
