Rescuers in the Bukhtarma reservoir in the Samara district of East Kazakhstan found a man and a woman who did not return to the recreation center after a boat trip. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the regional emergency department, during the day vacationers went to the reservoir, but after a few hours they stopped making contact. Three hours later, relatives asked for help.
Rescuers began searching and found the man and woman about two kilometers from the shore. They were brought to land.
The vacationers did not need medical assistance.
The emergency department reminded that before going to the reservoir, it is necessary to follow safety rules and inform relatives about plans and expected return time.
