Police in East Kazakhstan region have started using talking drones. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The 10 new drones with loudspeakers are used in markets, retail outlets, and agricultural fairs. From the air, they remind citizens to maintain public order, take care of personal property, and strictly follow legal requirements.
According to police, the capabilities of the new devices are even broader. The drones with loudspeakers are also used for road safety, patrolling courtyards and crowded places, conducting preventive measures, search operations, and monitoring the operational situation from the air.
Additionally, the drones enable rapid overview of large areas, timely delivery of safety measures to citizens, and increased efficiency of police patrols.
It is worth noting that earlier in Kyzylorda, drones were used to fine pedestrians.
