A steel sculpture of an Amur tiger weighing 550 kg was presented at the Eastern Economic Forum. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Craftsmen from St. Petersburg specially forged this unique sculpture as part of the "Steel Red Book" project. After the forum ends, the 550-kg steel tiger will be delivered to the Bikin National Park in Primorsky Krai.
A number of sessions of the Eastern Economic Forum will discuss nature conservation and preservation of the Amur tiger population. It should be noted that the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will be held in Vladivostok from September 1 to 4.
