The Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) has opened in Vladivostok. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The forum will gather 5,000 participants from 70 countries. One of the key topics on the EEF agenda is the development of civilian unmanned aviation and the introduction of autonomous vehicles. The main theme of the 2026 forum is "Far East – Development for the Benefit of the People."
The forum runs from September 1 to 4. During the EEF in 2025, agreements worth a total of 6 trillion rubles were signed. In 2026, the total value of agreements in energy, logistics, industry, and science may reach 6.5 trillion rubles.
On the first day of the forum, the "Falcon House" pavilion was opened. It features three species of falcons – the white falcon, saker falcon, and peregrine falcon.
