At the Eastern Economic Forum, 285 contracts totaling 6.6 trillion rubles ($76.7 billion or 34.9 trillion tenge) were signed over three days. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The forum was attended by over 7,000 people from 78 countries. The majority were representatives from China, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, India, and Myanmar. They participated in over 150 business events.
Among the major contracts are projects to create the international transport corridor "Mohe-Naiba" in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and to develop the Arctic and Transarctic transport corridors.
