Switzerland is offering mediation assistance to help establish peace between Russia and Ukraine and maintains contacts with all parties to the conflict. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland (FDFA) maintains close contacts with all parties and constantly offers its mediation services with the aim of finding a path to peace," the Swiss Foreign Ministry told an Izvestia correspondent.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that both sides in the Ukraine conflict are interested in reaching a peace agreement.
Meanwhile, a secret meeting on Ukraine in Finland was cancelled at the last moment.
