In the first half, Switzerland dominated possession and created more chances but failed to convert. Bosnia defended well and kept the score level at halftime.
After the break, Murat Yakin's team continued to press, and the breakthrough came in the 75th minute. Substitute Yoan Manzambi opened the scoring with a spectacular volley.
Five minutes later, Bosnia's situation worsened. Tarik Muharemovic was shown a straight red card for denying Breel Embolo a clear goalscoring opportunity, leaving his team a man down.

With this win, Switzerland moved to four points and top of Group B. In the final round, Switzerland will face Canada, while Bosnia will play Qatar.
