According to preliminary data, the 39-year-old man had been threatening his acquaintance since 2023, forcing him to give money. The material damage amounted to approximately 2.5 million tenge.
According to the investigation, the suspect asked the victim to sell a Volkswagen Passat car. However, after the deal fell through, he demanded 1 million tenge, police said.
As a result of the illegal actions, the victim lost a significant amount of money and property. Currently, the suspect has been detained, and a pre-trial investigation is underway.
