In the East Kazakhstan region, a bus driver continued to transport passengers despite his driver's license being suspended by a court decision. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the regional police department, a Yutong bus operating regular passenger routes was stopped by patrol police officers during the operational and preventive operation "Pravoporyadok" (Law and Order).
"During the document check, it was found that the man's driver's license had been suspended by a decision of the Semey city court. Despite this, he continued to transport passengers," the East Kazakhstan region police department said.
During the check, police officers also identified other traffic violations, including non-compliance with safety requirements.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the driver under Part 2 of Article 612, Part 2 of Article 593, and Part 2 of Article 572 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The bus was sent to a specialized impound lot.
