In the East Kazakhstan region, officers of facility No. 18 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System detained a man who tried to throw a package onto a guarded territory. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The incident occurred on the night of October 13 during the regime and preventive operation "Qadaǵalau". This was reported by Polisia.kz.
During inspection, a package wrapped in tape was found on the man. Inside was a green substance of plant origin with a specific odor.
The seized item was sent for forensic examination to determine its composition. The episode was recorded on a body-worn video recorder.
The attempted throw was stopped. Specialists are establishing all circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that three men were detained in Ust-Kamenogorsk who tried to throw a package over the colony fence at night. According to police, it presumably contained a prohibited substance.
