In East Kazakhstan region, a driver and passenger were held accountable for committing dangerous actions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In a video that spread on social media, a passenger is seen grossly violating safety requirements by leaning out of the window of a moving car. Police noted that this action posed a threat not only to the passenger himself but also to other road users.
During the investigation, police officers quickly identified the participants in the incident. The 27-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt was punished for violating road safety requirements. Additionally, the passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt during movement was held accountable in accordance with the law.
The police warned that the desire to take video or photos should not lead to dangerous actions. This incident once again highlights the importance of following traffic rules. Especially, wearing seatbelts and not leaning out of the vehicle during movement are duties of every driver and passenger.
