A pre-trial investigation has been launched in the Samara district of East Kazakhstan region against a man who stabbed the mother of six children. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

On social media, a resident named Medina wrote that on July 25, her ex-husband attacked her, inflicting several knife wounds and cutting off part of her ear. The woman expressed concern for her safety and that of her six children, asking for help.

According to the police department of East Kazakhstan region, the police department of Samara district is conducting a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 108-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the man under Article 434 of the Administrative Code.

Currently, he has been placed under administrative arrest for 10 days.
