The Kentau Cable Industries enterprise, with an investment of 1.7 billion tenge, will produce 33 thousand km of optical cable per year. This will enable the development of high-speed internet networks. The enterprise created 100 new jobs.

Also, the ElectroCore plant for the production of metal cabinets for electrical equipment was officially put into operation. "The project attracted 1.5 billion tenge in investments. The annual production capacity will reach 12 thousand units. Here, too, 100 new jobs have been created," the government press service reported.

Infrastructure projects

In addition, 30 railway stations were modernized. "A large-scale modernization of station infrastructure has been completed across the country. Roofs, facades and utility networks have been updated, ramps, elevators and tactile strips have been installed, creating a barrier-free environment," the statement said.

Road paving work continues. In total, 120 km of republican highways have been paved across the country. For example, in the Sauran district, a 4-km section of the regional highway "Turkistan – Kentau – Enbekshi – Dikan" was put into operation.

Water management and safety

An emergency section of the D. Kunaev canal, 1.5 km long, was reconstructed. This will improve water supply to 33.3 thousand hectares of agricultural land.

In the Turkistan region, the 26-km long "Naiman" canal was modernized, and 75 hydraulic structures were built to reduce water loss.

In the village of Togan, West Kazakhstan region, work on updating hydraulic structures was completed, enhancing the ability to safely pass flood waters and protect settlements.
