Registration of workers going abroad will be introduced to prevent labor exploitation and human trafficking, the Government reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The registration and control mechanism is planned to be introduced in the second quarter of 2027.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will check private employment agencies and identify online advertisements that may contribute to human trafficking.

Access to such advertisements may be restricted through the "Cyber Supervision" system or by court decision.

Another measure is training employees of schools, hospitals, and social services. They will be taught how to identify cases of baby trafficking and illegal adoption.

Victims will be provided assistance in crisis centers.

These measures are included in the government's plan to combat human trafficking for 2027-2029.
