The government has updated the rules regulating the entry and stay of immigrants in the country. According to the resolution, citizens of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and countries with bilateral visa-free agreements are required to obtain an electronic entry permit. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The electronic permit system will be introduced in stages, and the permit is issued for a period of 180 calendar days.

However, from July 1, 2027, this requirement will become mandatory, and entry into the country will not be allowed without it. The permit is issued free of charge through a digital platform in agreement with internal affairs bodies and national security bodies.

Applications must be submitted at least 72 hours before the planned date of entry into the country.

  • 02members of parliaments and governments of foreign states and international organizations and their family members;
