Moscow has opened applications for the 5th international contest of information projects for foreign media – the 'Honest View' media award. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The contest aims to support the best information projects of foreign media covering topics of Russia's cultural, humanitarian and economic cooperation with other countries, as well as works by journalists, authors and bloggers.

  • 03'Culture and traditions: foreign view';
  • 04'Professional view: genre journalism';
  • 05'New voice: best material by a young journalist';
  • 06'Digital recognition: best project about Russia on social media'.

Materials published in media or social networks between November 26, 2025 and October 4, 2026 are accepted. The contest is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo.

Since the launch of the 'Honest View' contest, its geography has expanded fourfold, and the number of participants has increased sevenfold. 'Moreover, this is not just dry statistics. Behind each application stands a journalist who believes that an independent and honest view of what is happening in today's realities is needed by all of us,' said Alexandra Kiknadze, head of the information policy department of Rossotrudnichestvo.

In 2025, the contest received 821 applications from 75 countries. Winners came from Serbia, China, Morocco, Italy, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Lebanon and South Ossetia. To apply, follow this link.
