In just ten days, 645 million tenge in undeclared funds were found at Kazakhstan's border. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan, during the period from August 1 to August 10, 2026, undeclared goods and currency totaling 645 million tenge were detected at checkpoints during control measures.
During inspections, customs officers identified various violations. In particular, facts of concealment of goods, false information in documents, and non-declaration of currency were recorded.
Administrative cases were initiated on the identified violations, and fines were imposed on the guilty persons. Additional inspections are currently underway.
The State Revenue Committee urges citizens to comply with customs declaration rules and warns of strengthened control measures to prevent illegal actions.
