Kazakhstan has stopped 392 cases of illegal export of fuels and lubricants totaling over 16,000 liters, the State Revenue Committee reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Control was carried out directly at vehicle checkpoints and through mobile groups operating in border areas along traffic routes. Additionally, daily monitoring of the domestic market situation is conducted.
As part of this, sales volumes at gas stations and the activities of mini-refineries are analyzed. "Since the strengthening of control, mobile groups have inspected 122 tanker trucks. In some cases, fuel samples were taken for analysis," the statement said.
At the "Syrym" vehicle checkpoint in West Kazakhstan Region, an attempt to secretly export 1,200 liters of diesel fuel in an additional tank of a truck was detected. In Pavlodar Region, a mobile group in Zhelezinka district stopped a vehicle without accompanying documents heading towards the "Uryltobe" checkpoint. Over 4,000 liters of gasoline were found in the vehicle.
As a result of analyzing the activities of border gas stations and mini-refineries, 103 timing inspections were scheduled. Other control measures are also being carried out.
