Karaganda's Shakhter, who have already secured their place in the 2027 Kazakhstan Premier League, continue to win. In the 22nd round of the First League, Andrei Finonchenko's side won in Uralsk to claim their 20th victory of the tournament. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The league's top scorer, Artyom Litosh, who has scored 21 goals, was limited to an assist this time. In the 25th minute the striker set up Rifat Nurmugamet, who opened the scoring. Soon Zhaiyk equalised through Bauyrzhan Omarov. However, after the break Karaganda's Dias Kalybaev scored the visitors' winning goal – 2:1.

The day before, Kairat-Zhastar dropped more points. The young Almaty side, lacking tournament motivation, nearly lost at home to their capital peers. After 90 minutes Astana-M were leading 2:1. Abylai Zhylkaidar equalised in stoppage time.

Turan, who like Shakhter have already secured promotion, claimed another victory. The Turkestan side settled the match in Aktobe within the first half – 3:1.

Taraz still struggling

Taraz, considered one of the tournament favourites before the season, continue to struggle. In a dramatic encounter with Khan-Tengri, the Zhambyl side twice fell behind, then pulled ahead, but conceded late to draw 3:3.

Tobol-M hit five

Outsiders Tobol-M unexpectedly produced five goals in Ekibastuz – 5:1. Emin Musaev scored a brace against Batyr.
