A giant Ferris wheel in Astana displayed an image of the famous Kazakh composer Shamshi Kaldayakov in honor of his birthday. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The portrait of the composer, created using LED lighting technology, has a diagonal of 65 meters and consists of 53 thousand pixels. The large-scale image was clearly visible from several points of the city – from Saryarka and Turan avenues, as well as from the Korgalzhyn highway.
The themed video broadcast was part of festive events dedicated to the composer's work. The capital widely celebrated the birthday of Shamshi Kaldayakov. Musical actions, performances, and blitz surveys dedicated to the life and work of the composer were organized in various parts of the city.
