A Kazakh citizen, Amira Kanat, died under unclear circumstances in Belgrade, Serbia. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Relatives of the deceased claim that she was thrown from the sixth floor of a multi-story building and are seeking justice.
The Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the family and stated that all circumstances of the incident are being established.
"The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Serbia, together with local competent authorities, is establishing all circumstances of the incident. In addition, Kazakh diplomats are in constant contact with the relatives of the deceased and are providing them with comprehensive consular and legal support," the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
The issue is under the ministry's control, the department noted.
