In Semey, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations returned a missing child to his parents. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

While patrolling the city beach on the banks of the Irtysh River, employees of the operational rescue squad of the Emergency Department noticed a child born in 2023 who was without adult supervision. The rescuers determined the circumstances of the incident and organized a search for the parents. Soon, the child's parents were found, and the baby was handed over to their care. No medical assistance was required.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that children should not be left unattended for a moment while relaxing on water bodies. Following simple safety rules helps prevent tragic incidents, the rescuers said.
