Police in Semey identified all participants of a nighttime conflict in the courtyard of the Blue Bird residential complex in the Abay Arena area. Administrative materials were drawn up against them and sent to court. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The incident occurred on the night of July 31. According to eyewitnesses, around 4 a.m., a group of intoxicated people was drinking alcohol in the courtyard, loudly using obscene language and disturbing residents' peace.

During the conflict, one of the men jumped onto the hood of a car that pulled up, presumably a taxi. Witnesses claim the driver refused to take the group due to the passengers' severe intoxication and the alcohol they intended to bring into the cabin.

Police were called to the scene, but before patrols arrived, the participants fled. Video of the incident later spread on social media.

In the footage, a man standing on the car's hood tells the driver he works in law enforcement. The police department of the Abay region reported that this information is false and the man has no connection to law enforcement agencies.

According to police, he was brought to administrative responsibility for drinking alcohol in a public place, disturbing the peace at night, and petty hooliganism.

Administrative materials were also drawn up against the other participants for obscene language and other actions violating public order. The degree of their responsibility will be determined by a specialized administrative court.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that in Astana, a 29-year-old man was arrested for 10 days after firing two shots into the air from a signal pistol. According to police, he was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Materials for illegal possession and carrying of weapons were also sent to court.
