A passenger bus caught fire while moving on Karzhaubayuly Street in Semey. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Footage published by the ministry shows the bus engulfed in open flames.
“There are no injuries. At the time of the incident, there were no passengers in the bus,” the ministry said.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded of the need to regularly check the technical condition of transport and the serviceability of electrical equipment.
The circumstances and causes of the incident are being established.
