A fire broke out at a woodworking shop in Semey. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, timber and sunflower husks burned over an area of 400 square meters at a woodworking shop on Glinki Street in the city of Semey.

A firefighting headquarters was established at the scene, and three combat sectors were organized.

Six fire hoses were deployed to extinguish the fire. Three tanker trucks and one water carrier vehicle were mobilized to ensure an uninterrupted water supply.

A total of 14 units of equipment and 47 personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was completely extinguished.

There are no injuries.
