A man has been arrested for committing illegal acts of a sexual nature against two underage girls in one of the parks in the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The police have completed the investigation under Article 121-1 of the Criminal Code (sexual harassment of persons under 16) and sent the case to court.
"On August 9, the suspect was placed in the temporary detention isolator of the Enbekshikazakh district police department," police said.
Law enforcement officers reminded that special attention is paid to the protection of the rights and safety of minors.
