A helicopter belonging to the national oil company Saudi Aramco crashed in the city of Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday morning. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The tragedy claimed the lives of 14 subjects of the kingdom. The causes of the crash are being determined. Relevant authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Ras Tanura is home to one of the largest oil refining complexes in the region. At the time of publication, Riyadh had not linked the aviation accident to a possible attack on industrial infrastructure.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar region, a helicopter with 13 people on board made a hard landing.
