17-year-old Dastan Satpayev came on as a substitute in the 65th minute of the Chelsea – Juventus match in Hong Kong. The English side lost again – 0:1. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

For the second consecutive game, Blues manager Xabi Alonso kept Satpayev on the bench. Interestingly, Londoners are losing in these matches. The Spanish specialist is actively rotating the squad in search of the optimal combination of players. The left-wing position, where Satpayev started the first match of the Australian-Asian tour, was again occupied by Jamie Gittens.

In head-to-head meetings between Chelsea and Juventus before this game, there was equality. The teams had two wins each and two draws. The first half of the new clash between the 10th team of the Premier League and the 6th team of Serie A was also equal. Sharp moments were rare, but sometimes goalkeepers – Londoner Robert Sanchez and Turinese Michele Di Gregorio – had to really get involved.

After the break, Sanchez and Di Gregorio gave way in goal to Mike Penders and Mattia Perin. Satpayev did not leave the bench. His hour came in the 65th minute when Alonso made seven substitutions at once. Gittens was among them. The Kazakhstani took his position. This, however, did not prevent Dastan from moving to the center and even to the opposite flank.

Shortly after the mass substitutions of the Londoners, Luciano Spalletti's charges took the lead. Turinese Kosovar Edon Zhegrova with a skillful strike from outside the box removed the cobwebs from the top corner – 1:0.

In the 82nd minute, Mykhailo Mudryk appeared on the field. The Ukrainian, who had been cleared of doping charges, went to the left flank of the attack. Satpayev finally moved to the center. It was from there that the former Kairat player, being outside the penalty area, made an emphatic shot with his left foot. Perin was alert.

The prolonged positional attacks of the English led to nothing. The Old Lady celebrated a minimal victory – 1:0.

In the first match of the tour, Chelsea beat the Australian club Western Sydney Wanderers – 6:4. Satpayev opened both the scoring in the match and his personal scoring account for the Club World Cup champions. In the second game of the trip, the Blues lost the London derby to Tottenham – 1:2. The Kazakh newcomer came on in the second half but did not stand out.

On August 8, Chelsea will face Milan in Jakarta. The tour will end on August 9 with a match against Johor Darul Ta'zim from Malaysia.

The transfer of Satpayev from Kairat to Chelsea became known in February 2025. The deal amount, including bonuses, was estimated at 4.3 million euros.

Before leaving for England, the young forward played 58 matches for the Almaty club, scored 26 goals, and made ten assists.
