On August 17, Kazakhstan experienced disruptions in tax reporting services. Problems with access to the KNP ISNA system began around 16:00. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The State Revenue Committee said that specialists are already working to restore the stable operation of the system. At the same time, tax reporting is being accepted as usual.

"All submitted tax reporting forms will be accepted and processed as of the date of submission," the SRC assured.

The department also apologized for the temporary inconvenience.

Recall that August 17 is the last day to submit tax reports for the second quarter and first half of 2026. Initially, the deadline was set for August 15, but this date was moved to Monday because it fell on a Saturday.

By August 17, a number of declarations and calculations must be submitted, including corporate income tax, individual income tax, VAT, excise taxes, property tax, and other payments. Taxpayers on a simplified declaration must also submit form 910.00 for the first half of the year.

Other deadlines for filing reports and paying taxes fall on August 20, 24, and 25. The SRC reminded that delays may result in penalties and other measures.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the State Revenue Committee sent notifications to 114,000 Kazakhstanis whose bank transfers were suspected of entrepreneurial activity.
