During a video bridge on the Sputnik Kazakhstan platform, Alibek Tazhibayev, director of the analytical center "Eurasian Monitoring", noted that local political technologists were involved for the first time during the election campaign of the Kurultai elections. "During the election campaign, not only Kazakhstani political technologists worked on many projects, but also many local personnel were involved in certain regions. I had the opportunity to observe pre-election activity in Karaganda and Turkistan regions. I saw that many local public activists and opinion leaders were involved, rather than people coming from the center in the 'Almaty or Astana' style. They consciously and actively campaigned for certain parties," he said.
According to him, for the first time in the history of elections, out of seven parties, the People's Party of Kazakhstan and the "Baitak" party did not enter parliament. If "Adilet" received more than 70% of the votes, the indicators of the remaining five parties are approximately the same.
