According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, today the police are ensuring public order and the safety of citizens from the start of voting until its completion.
Official representative of the ministry, Shyngys Alekeshev, stated that all preparations were carried out in advance. The security of polling stations has been checked, and they are under round-the-clock guard.
An operational headquarters is working at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Information from all regions of the country is received continuously online. No gross violations of public order have been recorded.
It is worth noting that the police do not interfere in the electoral process. Police officers can enter the voting hall only if invited by the chairman of the election commission.
