In Rudny, Kostanay Region, a fire broke out in a first-floor apartment of a four-story residential building in the evening. During firefighting, Ministry of Emergency Situations workers rescued two people, including a child, and evacuated 10 residents. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
"Department of Emergency Situations workers rescued two people, including one child, via the stairwell. Also, 10 residents were evacuated from the building," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the ministry, the fire area was 10 square meters. After firefighters arrived, the fire was completely extinguished.
Units of the Department of Emergency Situations, police officers, and an ambulance team worked at the scene.
Currently, information about possible casualties is being clarified. Specialists are determining the cause of the fire.
