A fatal accident claimed the life of a worker at the ERG Service plant in Rudny. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the company's press service, the tragedy occurred on June 19 in the production workshop of the repair and mechanical metal-rolling plant. A charger operator died while performing work at a steel-smelting furnace.
"The incident has been reported to state authorities, and an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances and causes of what happened," the company said.
The company expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and said it would provide the family with necessary assistance.
Earlier, Kursiv reported on the death of a worker at the Artyomievsk mine of Vostoktsvetmet LLP. The man was buried under rock mass.
