Rockstar Games has officially announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will open on June 25. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The developers shared the news on their official page on social network X. Within hours, the post garnered tens of millions of views.

"Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers. Check out the official cover art, also available as downloadable artwork at https://t.co/XPwC8URCQ4," the Rockstar Games announcement said.

Along with the announcement, the company unveiled the official artwork and cover for the upcoming game.

According to Rockstar Games, pre-orders can be placed through digital stores PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, as well as at major retail outlets. The price of GTA VI has not yet been disclosed.

Currently, only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are listed as confirmed platforms on the game's official page. A PC version has not yet been officially confirmed.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be playable on November 19, 2026. Previously, Rockstar had postponed the release date: the game was originally planned for an earlier release, but was later delayed to late 2026.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that up to $6 billion could have been spent on developing GTA 6.
