Chicken eggs that were to be imported into Kazakhstan from the Russian Federation have been returned back. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 252,000 eggs were transported without veterinary documents.
Identified at the "Zhaisan" checkpoint
"At the "Zhaisan" veterinary control checkpoint, veterinary control officers, during an inspection of a vehicle heading from the Russian Federation to the city of Baikonur, found that the transported cargo lacked the required veterinary documents," the statement said.
Measures taken over the violation
A corresponding act and an administrative protocol were drawn up for this violation, and the eggs were returned to Russia.
The carrier was informed of the requirements of veterinary legislation and the rules for passing controlled goods across the state border.
