Overnight on July 18, Wildberries warehouses in Russia's Tambov and Moscow regions were attacked by drones, resulting in deaths and dozens of injuries, according to the Russian service of BBC News. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to authorities in the Tambov region, the strike hit the company's logistics center in the city of Kotovsk. Seven night-shift employees were killed. Another 25 people were injured. Most of the injured remain in hospitals, with several in serious condition.
In the Moscow region, drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal. According to Governor Andrey Vorobyov, 24 people were injured there. Two more people were injured after a fire in Noginsk caused by a falling drone. Due to a nearby maternity hospital, patients and staff were evacuated.
Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and stated that the company will provide assistance to the injured and relatives of employees killed in the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the strikes, said that the logistics centers stored components for the production of drones and navigation equipment. Russian authorities have not confirmed this information.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 379 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the country's territory overnight. Russian media called the attack on the Moscow region one of the largest since the start of the full-scale war.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that the largest Wildberries logistics hub is being built in the capital of Kazakhstan, with thousands of jobs and investments of nearly 48 billion tenge.
