The Avtoteka service has added information about body repairs of cars previously recorded in Kazakhstan and Belarus to its reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Pravda.ru.

This concerns professional calculations of restoration costs after insurance cases, which previously remained mostly within insurance companies, dealerships, and appraisal organizations.

The data comes from the international Audatex system. In the event of an insurance case, the damage to the car is assessed by the insurer, dealer, or independent expert, after which the calculation is saved in the system. Now this information automatically appears in Avtoteka reports.

For a potential buyer, this allows them to find out before inspecting the car what damage it may have had in the past and how serious the repair was.

The statistics for cars with Kazakhstani history are particularly interesting. Toyota appears most often in body repair calculations — 32.7%, with Lexus in second place at 13.7%.

In Belarus, the structure is noticeably different. BMW leads with a share of 30.1%, followed by Mercedes-Benz at 9.7% and Audi at 7.8%. Next are Volkswagen at 6.5% and Toyota at 5.2%.

Interest in the history of cars from Kazakhstan is growing amid an increase in their supplies to Russia. According to AVTOSTAT, in 7 months of 2026, almost 7 thousand used passenger cars were imported to the Russian Federation from Belarus and more than 1 thousand from Kazakhstan.

At the same time, imports of used cars from Kazakhstan increased approximately 2.5 times over the year.

Avtoteka itself notes that over the year, the share of checks of cars with history in Kazakhstan and Belarus increased by 12%. In July alone, information about such cars was contained in reports for approximately 36 thousand vehicles.

This is especially relevant for buyers of used Toyota and Lexus: the popularity of these brands in the Kazakhstani market makes them a noticeable part of the flow of cars that may later end up on the Russian secondary market.
