The millionth container was ceremonially dispatched in Omsk along the Russia-Kazakhstan-China route. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The event took place within the framework of the XXII Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum, as reported by JSC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy". The dispatch of the millionth container was organized by JSC "Kedentransservice" (a subsidiary of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy") and JSC "Russian Railways".

This is another result of the strategic transport partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia. "Over the past seven years, the Russia-Kazakhstan-China route has become one of the main container corridors in Eurasia. Thanks to infrastructure development and coordination of the railway administrations of the two countries, the volume of traffic along the route has increased 27 times since 2019. Specifically, in 2019 there were 11 thousand containers, and by the end of 2025, this figure reached 301 thousand twenty-foot equivalents," the statement said.
